I See You

I had written an entire piece about the events of the last few days, but as I got to the end of it I realized it is not going to change anyone’s mind. If people want to mourn a dead bigot they are going to mourn a dead bigot.

In the end I found myself mad at myself for giving those few fuckheads my energy. I should have focused on the people I knew would become targets because, let’s face it, they are the same people who Charlie Kirk hisownself targeted. Seriously, fuck that guy.

The queer kids, the trans kids, the black and brown kids, the jewish kids, the muslim kids, the kids who simply don’t fit into the neat little gentrified, christian, Charlie Kirk/Stephen Miller/Nick Fuentes/Ben Shapiro/MAGA worldview - those are the ones that deserve my attention.

And when I said “kids” I don’t just mean those of you that are under the legal age. I mean all of you, even my elders. You deserve to have a country that allows you to live and breathe freely. To exist without fear of being demonized, …
